Rafael’s journey in dance began in 2009, exploring different rhythms such as Samba, Bolero, Zouk, WCS, Bachata, Tango, and Salsa. This diversity helped enrich his greatest specialty: Forró and, more recently, Zouk!
At Pé Descalço School, one of the most renowned Forró schools in the world, he progressed through all levels. In this same school, he took on multiple roles: student, teacher, choreographer, dancer, examinee, and examiner. In 2019, he decided to take a new step in his career and created the project Forró com o Wilker.
Recognized for his technical approach, movement clarity, musicality, and improvisation, Rafael believes that dance goes far beyond leisure – it is transformation, joy, and even therapy!
