Born in Belo Horizonte, Léo Diniz is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer with over 15 years of experience in Ballroom Dance. With a strong connection to forró pé de serra, he has recently focused on forró Roots, sharing his passion through courses and workshops across Brazil and Europe.
As the director of the Baila Roots project, Léo regularly organizes courses, dance nights, and festivals in Belo Horizonte, inspiring the community to experience the magic of dance and create connections through movement.
With a unique approach that integrates studies in other dance styles and bodywork practices, his teaching emphasizes the body’s structure as a tool for movement and the creation of genuine connections between dance partners.
